About the Series

Transforming
Economy Across the
Continent

The health crisis and pandemic of Covid-19 has pushed all actors from all sectors to think differently and to realize the interconnection between countries in terms of health and economy among others.

This situation has brought to light the need for Africa to awaken to greater inter-African cooperation. With the establishment of the African Free Trade Area on the horizon, the continent has to take its future into its own hands and think about a future dependent on its own economies.

Since 2020, Africa Economy Webinars have brought together policymakers, ministries, and industry leaders to share ideas, strengthen regional cooperation, and promote sustainable economic growth across Africa.
