In Mars 2019, we had the opportunity to participate to the Hive Leadership Retreat. It was a great opportunity to build bond and create a great network with like minded entrepreneurs looking at having an impact on their communities through their work.
Hive is a global membership community for entrepreneurs with over 3,200 members in 130 countries, built upon the three pillars of personal growth, business growth, and social impact.
Since 2018, Hive has offered the Hive Global Women’s Leadership Program (GWLP), an online 12-week training program designed to provide a structure for female leaders to build service projects in their home communities that support the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
By the end of 2018, we were given the opportunity to submit our application to become a facilitator in our community. The training would start in January 2019!
Thankfully we were chosen among 15 other women around the world from Uganda, Nigeria, Yemen, Venezuela, Tunisia, USA, Bangladesh, Bahrain, India, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Pakistan, and Cameroon.
The program was 12 week long where we would go through the program that we would deliver itself while also building our own program to launch in our country. Our program though would be in person.
We were invited to adapt the content to our community and this is why first change was to have it in French so that we could reach out to a greater number of women in Algeria.
Our goal is to help women in Algeria find their voice; make them use it and do something that would be passionate about and go for it!
We will be soon announcing the launch of our groups! Stay tuned 🙂
