Quality standards of care
To ensure quality health care, several standards are applied. In addition to the various international standards, there are countries standards, procedures and therefore national quality systems specific to the different local healthcare systems & quality standards adapted to the contexts of the countries.
- Quality of care and equity in health services
- Quality frameworks for infrastructure, services, higher education, agencies & institutions
Quality standards exist to help taking better decisions for health problems and treatment protocols and therefore improving healthcare systems
For the sustainability of quality of care, it is necessary to transform the systems put in place into a culture adopted and understood by health professionals and patients
